The Old Farmhouse has been converted into 5 fully equipped Self-Catering Units nestled between the farm's vineyards. Each unit is unique in its style and build with its own private carport and braai area. There is also air conditioning in each bedroom.

The swimming pool is situated just behind these units and is suitable for both old and young. It was actually the old dam and was creatively converted to a pool.
Family Self-Catering Units
Units are only equipped with a showers. The kitchenettes are all equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, hotplate, kettle and the necessary utensils to prepare a hearty meal.

Merbein (Max 2 people)

Merbein is a 1 bedroom unit with 2 single beds.

Interesting Facts:

Merbein is named after the grape that is fast replacing Sultana as the preferred raisin cultivar. It is very sweet and tasty, but has a short shelf life in its natural form. It was first planted in the late 1980’s.

Kristal (Max 3 people)

Kristal is a 1 bedroom unit with a double bed and a single bed in the living area.

Interesting facts:

Kristal is named after a grape mostly used for jams and normal consumption. 
It was originally planted by the early settlers in the region for their personal use, alongside the commercial vine Hanepoot, which was used for raisins.

Sultana (Max 4 people)

Sultana is a 2 bedroom unit with a double bed and 2 single beds.

Interesting Facts :

Sultana is a very sweet, delicious grape. You can accurately call it the grape that conquered the region. It has long been the preferred cultivar for raisin production.
Wheelchair friendly
Although not a certified handicapped unit, it's bathroom have been built with people in wheelchairs in mind.

Colombar (Max 4 people)

Colombar is a 2 bedroom unit with a double bed and 2 single beds.

Interesting facts:

Colombar is named after the first commercial wine cultivar planted in the region in the late 1960’s when the Orange River Wine Cellars were established.

Hanepoot (Max 4 people)

Hanepoot is a 2 bedroom unit with a double bed and 2 single beds.

Interesting Facts:

Hanepoot is the oldest part of the farm's original homestead. It is aptly named after the first commercial grape cultivar of the region of the 1920’s, which was used to produce the first raisins.
