Worldwide the unique indigenous Aloe gariepensis is found in rocky exposed places in hot arid areas for 1km on both sides of the Orange (Gariep) River from Keimoes and surrounding islands westwards to the Richtersveld. We proudly announce the existence, worldwide, of the densest population of this utterly scarce aloe at Kalahari Water!
Flowering time is during August and September.
